Outfitting my 99 ram a little better this year and having trouble finding good installation locations for under dash mounts and so on.
Already have a brake control above pedals catching my toes all the time.
Can't move it to the right because the hard mount is there for the OBD2 connector.
One of my sisters dodges has the ash tray removed and the brake controller stuffed in there but it does not look very good so that's not my first choice.

I need to mount a Scanner, a control box for my light bar, possibly a remote speaker so I can hear the scanner, also need to mount a Whelen Strobe power supply and would like to re mount my brake controller. Only possible location I found is to make a bracket and mount the scanner (facing up) just in front of the fixed center section of my seat and then piggyback the light bar control box on the scanner. This takes away most or all of the center floor eliminating another seat all year. of coarse anything mounted there is in harms way from drinks passing over heading to the cup holder.
Has anyone else found any good mounting locations for anything? That fold down cupholder and the obD2 really eliminate most usable space under the dash!

They sure didn’t give us much mounting space. I use the CB mount from Geno's Garage. I mounted the external speaker with Velcro so it can be removed easily with the CB for additional passengers. I plan to move my brake controller there as well. Good luck.
