Hi,

Well my single pillar pod came from Geno's today, now my question is. Do I want to install it or should I take it to someone who knows how to install it??

The gage is not a problem it's already installed.

All you need it to pop out the plugs on the grab handle with a small screwdriver, being careful not to mar the plastic (you have to reuse the plugs, or buy new ones). Next get a 10mm deep socket and remove the two bolts that secure the grab handle. The only difficult thing is weaseling it out of there, it is secured down by a couple tabs on the dash, and it pops up, but takes some force, it has to be pried up. Just be careful, and use lots of rags, and masking tape to make sure you do not mar your dash or anything else. You would be amazed at how easy it is to pull apart the interior in a Dodge.

I found that removing the side panel on the dash makes it easier. It's on the dash and faces the door, just prys off. Note that it has a little hook on the end that holds the A-pillar trim. Make sure to get that lined up right. :)

It's not hard.

Well that sounds good, now I just need to get my dual gage for the pod and I'll be ready to go.

But I have a puro and boost gage to sell.

When you replace the screws that hold the a-pillar/handle on, use larger washers... ... ... . This will add a lot of strength to the handle. My original handle pulled the small washers through the plastic.

Tinsmith; What guage are you putting in. I am thinking on doing the same aand installing a Westec dual EGT and boost with the white face.

I will be useing the same gauge, I have ISS PRO gauges right now. Pyro-Boost-Trans temp, I have the pillar pod just need the gauge. And another place to put the Trans Temp gauge.
