Instant heat?

The last couple of weeks the outside temp has been around 45 degrees in the mornings. When I go out and start my truck (it's outside all night) in the morning I have heat instantly from the vents. I do not warm up the truck, I start it and pull out of the driveway. The truck has been sitting for at least 12 hours (overnight). The engine temp guage in the truck is all the way to the left. I have felt the block before starting and it feels cool. Does anyone have any idea where this heat is coming from? It's pretty neat I hope it continues as it gets colder!!
