Ok I posted a while ago that my Temp, oil press, and tach were not working. Instrument cluster test reveals all guages fine, I wired in a new cluster connector, it is not the problem and all other insturment functions work including lighting. I don't think the signal is reaching the guage connector. Where does it come from, specifically all three must come from a similar place. Any help would be appreciated.

Those sensor states are sent to the computer controlled dash on your 2002 via CCD bus data packet. The engine mounted ECM reads the sensors. The PCM located the firewall (passenger side) controls some signels used by the ECM to enable sensors. If your PCM isn't working with the ECM correctly you can loose the temp, oil and tach.

I'd try some electrical contact cleaner on the 3 connectors located on the PCM.

You may need to use a DRBII/III scanner to isolate the problem.

Thanks will try tommorrow. Can someone explain the communication between the cummins ecm and the chrysler pcm. ie what they control, adjust etc.
