Anyone who got an SLT also get the wood panel accessories from Dodge? I've been checking it out and am thinking about it. How much discount are you guys seeing from the dealer on accessories from Mopar?

I've been looking at that too. My dealer gave me 10% off for 90 days after I bought my truck.

By the way, there are at least 2 different kits. One has 6 pcs and one has 8. Does anyone know where all the panels go?

I had the dealer install a simple woodgrain piece over the radio, etc. What they told me is that I'm entitled to any accessories from now on at cost, can you believe it?

Woodgrain definitely looks better than that plain black trim.

Go look at a Laramie at a lot, and you will find two simple strips on the door panels, and one over the radio area, that appears to be made of several pieces to chase the bends.

The dealer installed one more piece that went over the left air vent on the dash left of the wheel. Didn't match a darn thing on the whole truck, so I peeled it back off. Don't know what that was about... but after seeing it on, I'd say that begins the overkill.

Frmrdug, I'm gonna take your word on that extra vent piece and just order the 6 pc. set. If any body's trying to figure out what to get me this xmas, I'd like to have the rear door kit!

Oh ya, and an E-brake and ...

;) :D

It is sort of reminiscent of the "cheapenings" we've all discussed. While it's still pretty nice, they kinda plain janed the interior, so it still desires a "little something". I'm not that much of a "plastic simulated wood product" fanatic, and have never done it before, but it does help in this case!

I do think the little door strips are nice, too. Gotta get some one day.

So, is this Mopar4less a genuine company dealer? Seems there'd be a conflict of interest there?

Actually their made out of real wood - rose wood I think. I had a hard time believing it my self but after comparing several different trucks , I could see the wood in each one was unique!
