Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) insulate A/C line?

my A/C line downstream of the orifice tube is un-insluated. As you know it snakes around under the air filter and even passes by the turbo outlet elbow before it passes through the firewall. shouldn't this line be insulated? (at least the portion around the tubo) has anybody tried insulating it? if so, did the performance of the A/C go up?

i did mine when i installed the BHAF, it rests on the a/c line,i used the foam tube

that you can get a hardware stores, to insulate your house water

pipes with, 1/2 or 3/4 size's.

also didn't notice any difference in cooling.
