Check out Gilbert RV Ins. out of Florida. My wife checked everything out concerning a lot of options and we have seen the rep. from the company at Motor Home Shows around Metro Atlanta, GA and they seem to be good to work with. Of course we haven't had to file any claims yet.

I went with Progressive for 2 reasons. One, I already had them for the truck and they were very good to deal with. The second was they were the only ones I had found in a somewhat limited search that offered full replacement coverage. If something happens to the coach in the first year or two, can't remember which, they pay you the full amount to go and purchase another one. Full coverage with roadside and trip displacement and the full replacement and everything ran me about 700 a year, and I have had it for over 2 years now. Now that I turned 25 it may drop a bit, but I don't know. I did have to make a claim and they were all over it. Had more trouble with the shop than the insurance. Hope this helps!

I have Allstate for everything else, so why not? Nobody seems to be able to beat there price on my car/truck either.

It depends on your agent with Allstate. My parents had allstate. When they switched from a E450 front motorhome to a ford chasses motorhome the Allstate price went up 300% so they removed the car/truck/motorhome/house from alstate and went with progressive. But Progressive can't beat the prices Allstate gives me. Its strange.

Go with Drive which is Progressive. They specialize in RV insurance. I tried Good Sams and Camping World which is GMAC and no one can beat Progressive.

I believe both companies use GMAC Insurance. It can't hurt.

We switched from State Farm to Good Sam/GMAC. Be sure you're comparing apples to apples in your coverage. Good Sam/GMAC offers full replacement for 5 years - if my rig is totaled in, let's say, 2008, I order one equipped as closely as possible to my current 5ver and the insurance covers it. No depreciation - in fact, the insurance company carries the risk for inflation.
