Advice

I have just returned to the US after living abroad for over 14 years, so I really have no basis for comparison for a reasonable insurance quote. I have been given a quote of just under $ 1200 per year for my '04. 5 Q-cab 4x4 SLT in New York - fully comprehensive. Does this seem reasonable or not ?

100 bucks a month for NY on a brand new CTD? Sounds resonable to me, depending on your driving record, age, marital status, proximiny to major cities, etc.

I pay about 140 a month to insure my 2002 CTD and my wife's 2001 Taurus wagon (full coverage on both), and for 150,000 dollar life insurance policies for each of us. But, I live in a low insurance risk area, so my rates are better.

Sounds right, my agent quoted me $140 a month or $1680 a year for my truck. South Florida is a hot spot with insurance and I've been with my agent for over 15 years. This is full coverage and uninsured motorist. So that sounds about right

Thanks very much - just wanted to make sure I wasn't getting done over. Sounds like a reasonable quote - I may be getting a break because the insurance company is somehow affiliated with the company I work for. Anyway, appreciate your help on this.

Cheers,

Wish mine was that cheap. I pay 196. 00 a month. But I'm 23, not married, not living with the parents. But my record is perfect, nothing since I got my license.

For a brand new truck that sounds like a heck of a deal.
