Intake air relay wires

I have a quick question…the small posts on the grid heater relays mounted on the wheel well…does it matter which color wires attach to each pair on each relay when re-attaching wires? I had to remove them about a month ago & at the time I did not make a note of which wire went to which post. Are they polarized? Thanks for any responses guys! BTW, truck is a ‘96……. Mike H.
