just wondering if i should put my afe stage 2 on now with a new exhaust or wait till i get an edge/attitude plus jammer turbo. i heard somewhere that the 05 trucks will defuel if making to much hp or to sensing to much airflow. is this right or am i hearing things? and should i think about new headbolts also, not gonna do any tractorpulling but will be more than stock. should i think about the fuel system also? injectors and new lift pump? not looking for 500hp, maybe 400, not sure what i would do with more beside break stuff.

i'd say put it in. not gonna hurt nothing. i have 2 boxes stacked no problems, but still with the stocker turbo. as for the studs, you can get by for now. when you do the injectors, put the studs in.

i'd get gauges if you have none first, and help out the fueling when you get the box.

Your going to need to do something with the clutch, if going with that kind of power won't you. Everybody say's that it starts to slip when increasing HP.

lol thanks guys, my sons smile almost as big as i do when the turbo spools up with the windows down. i read somewhere along here that there is a plug the goes into the stock air tube? is that something i'm gonna have to find a place for and will it mess with my ecm if its unplugged?

are you talking about that little sensor thing? my intake tube had a hole already but im not sure if its an afe setup as i bought it used. loud as heck non the less!
