It seems that when the heater should short cycle, nothing happens. Mucho white smoke. When temps get low enough for a long cycle, everything's fine.
Any pointer on where to start?
I got my factory Dodge shop manual today for the '92. Bunches of stuff on the diesel. I'm impressed.
I was hoping I wouldn't have to wade through a few hundred pages and end up with a "jiggle this wire" cure.
