Intake Heater Saver

On the Practical Solutions (www.psdieselproducts.bizland.com)site I saw the item Intake Heater System Saver. Is anybody out there using it? It sounds like a good idea, just want your opinion if its worth it before spending the money.

PS intake heater saver

It works great. As long as your coolant temps. are over 125*, your heater will not cycle, so saves on grid heater, batt. , and alt. I think you will find all of Gordons mods. are great, plus he backs them 100%, if your not satisfied he will refund your money!!

I bought one a few months ago. I am a salesman and start my truck a dozen times a day. Seems to work fine and I notice faster cranking when its warm. Super easy install 15-20 min. I would buy again.

Does anyone know what the parameters are that control when the heater grid cycles? Thought I read somewhere that the heater does not cycle if outside temp is above 59-60 degrees.



I keep my turck in a garage and it rarely cycles, except in the Winter.
