Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) intake horn, tube, elbow?

i need to know what year intake horn (the thing that bolts to the grid heater for the intercooler pipe to hook to) will fit my engine? it is an 89 non intercooled 12 valve in a 96 2500 4x4. i am putting an intercooler in and need info on what parts fit and where to get cheap used ones, besides the classifieds, wasted 2 hours and found nothing. i found pipes on ebay fot 109. 00. 3" cut to fit alum. pipe. but need the elbow i can use. thanks

I'm not sure if a 94-98 intake horn will bolt on, you may need to find one from a 92-93 truck.

there is a thread on cumminsforum.com with a great intake that might be available soon. Check in the 1st gen area. I think is what you are looking for.

Everything will fit. If you use a 91-93 intake horn, it's only 2 1/2". The 94+ style is 3" or 2 3/4". There's a seller on ebay that usually has all the pieces you need. redlinear is the seller's ID IIRC.

will the 94-98 horn bolt up? i have an intercooler from a 98 and 3 inch piping. thanks
