I am going to add SPA Boost/EGT gauges and wanted to add a fuel pressure gauge with 2 sensors, one before fuel filter and one after fuel filter. This way with a switch I can monitor the flow from the Lift Pump and condition of fuel filter. In my surfing on the web, I ran accross Intellitronix Gauges. www.intellitronix.com Specifically the Street Series Digital Gauges. The fuel pressure has a digital readout (green, red or amber LEDs) from 0 to 16 psi. In my TDR readings I should never need over 16 psi readout. My question is I have not seen anyone who has used these gauges. They have a lifetime warranty and run about $80. 00 with 1 sending unit. Are these quality gauges? Has anyone had any experience with them? Really like the digital readout for faster reading and convenience.

I can not see buying a SPA Fuel/water temp or a Fuel/volts (over $200. 00) when I don't need water temp or volts.

I've used their oil temp gauges on four farm tractors to monitor hydralic oil temps. These are open cab orchard style tractors the gauges sit out in the sun, rain and snow much of the year, the're going strong after four years of abuse. In fact I can turn on all four after the tractors have been sitting overnite and they all read the same as the outdoor temp. ,I'm impressed. On my 12 Valves the fuel press. is usually around 20 psi,so I wonder if 16 psi is enough for you. For fuel pressure on the Rams I use cheap electric 40 psi Stewart-Warner oil pressure gauges, their fine because you don't look at them much anyways. I purchased my Intellitronics gauges from JC Whitney, you might check they could be cheaper than from the manufacturer.

I haven't heard of the intellitronix gauges. I put a stewart warner gauge in mine (0-16 psi) with dual electric senders as well. See my post here in the products forum on it at: https://www.turbodieselregister.com/ubb//Forum3/HTML/001088.html . Cost for the gauge and senders was around $80 - they have many different faces to choose from. This may not be what your looking for since you went with the digital SPA gauges - I personally prefer an analog display on my gauges, I think they are easier to read at a glance (although it sounds like the intellitronix gauge would be just as easy to read).

I have used this brand of gauge for over a year. I have the analouge type 0 - 16 psi. I get a steady 13-14 psi cruising. I mounted it below the dash. I wonder if you need a digital system as you only need to read it occasionaly, but if you detect any problem its there for a fast ck. my $. 02.

I have never used these guages but i've seen them in a summit racing catalog. Thay also may have a lower price than buying direct from manf. . www.summitracing.com
