I went to get my new 97 engine but when I got there I found out it was EGR equipped and decided not to get it. However they had a 95 engine with only 72k on it and it comes with the intercooler, Ac condenser and all the plumbing including the Clutch and trans adapter plate.

My first question is, does the 2nd generation intercooler flow better than the 1st gen?

I think this engine is rated at 180hp am I right?

Is the KDP an issue with this engine?

Is there any value in the Banks twin intake manifold?

Can I take my PW injecters out of my 92 and use them in the 95?

What about going from the stock 95 turbo which I think is a 14cm wastegated to the 16 non wastegated from my 92?

I am considering the piers 4000 rpm gsk and a plate from TST.

Do any of you have any other suggestions?

Thanks, Rod

Lets see what I can do for you.

My first question is, does the 2nd generation intercooler flow better than the 1st gen? The 24V intercoolers flow the best.

I think this engine is rated at 180hp am I right? If its a 95' it will be either a 160hp (auto)or 175hp (std).

Is the KDP an issue with this engine? Yes

Is there any value in the Banks twin intake manifold? Not that I know of.

Can I take my PW injecters out of my 92 and use them in the 95? No

What about going from the stock 95 turbo which I think is a 14cm wastegated to the 16 non wastegated from my 92? The 95' will have a 12cm, but if you flow enough fuel the 16cm will be fine but don't 92's have an 18cm??

I am considering the piers 4000 rpm gsk and a plate from TST. Good idea :)

Do any of you have any other suggestions? Plate, Injectors, afc spring kit, call piers.

Hope this helps

Thanks MDW. Now another question should the fuel pump supply/return lines be upgraded to larger sizes? If so how much larger and does anyone sell the banjo fittings to adapt to braided steel line?
