Just received a set of HD hoses and clamps from Piers. I'm having a dickens of a time installing hoses. . Any hints. .

Do they need to be trimmed, don't seem like it.

Anyway not at home base and laying out in the dirt trying to get them on

Any ideas from someone who has done it appreciated.

Some people use hair spray to help installation. I have also heard that getting them back apart is harder. I went ahead and used wd-40 and have never had a problem with them blowing off. They are very tight any way you look at it. Determination

DONT use WD40 if you plan to run any kind of boost. you just gotta force them. water if anything it'll dry and not leave a residue.

they are not fun... that's all i can tell you.

Got 'em Thanks all

Got 'em on this AM. They are kind of a PITA. I had to trim about 3/8inch off of the straight one on the right side . They seem to be OK.

I didn't call Piers as it was past working time when I started on them last nite.

Been hotter'n the devil here, and as I said I'm boondocking here in the outback of NM.

Thanks again to all.

BTW I'm pretty mild on boost about 20-25 max. .

Make sure you check your clearance at the intercooler... ... the inner fender comes awful close to touching the boots..... mine did anyway... ... . I had to bend the fender metal out away from the boots so they wouldn't rub and make any holes.....
