Just ordered a new intercooler from PDR this morning and wondering about installation. do I remove the grille or do I have to remove the rad, also will I have to discharge my a/c system. thanks
i know on my 96 i have to take out the radiater. on mine it will not come through the grille bacause of the a/c condensor. the radiater on my truck was extremely easy to pull. i did it the other day because my stock rad started to bust at the seems. it only took a half hour to pull out and about 45 minutes to put back in.
On Mom's 92, the intercooler is in front of everything else, so it should just unbolt and come off. You will need to remove the grille, and might have to move the A/C condenser aside, but I dont think you need to discharge it.
