intercooler question

Is it worth upgrading the intercooler before a turbo upgrade and what type of performance enhancement will this give me. Thanks

I have an '05 with crap plastic intercooler. I hear they will blow out if you bomb. It this true?

Be careful, this seems to be another area that DC is looking at, they consider an aftermarket inter-cooler to provide more airflow, which results in more power, which results in denied warranty coverage.



DC is looking for any reason to void warranties it seems.



At least mine is stock, but I guess due to my gauges and kilby condenser guard they may take a wack at my truck, I am sure they will try to figure some way for the kilby product to void the trucks warranty. Then there are the PML extra deep transmission pan and rear end cover for them to claim caused some type of failure.



I hear some Dodge dealers have even questioned Fleet guard oil filters in the past.



Once mine is out of warranty, I am replacing the plastic cooler with a metal one.
