Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Intercooler Questions

Is it common problem for a intercooler to leak where the cores go into the tank? My very bottom tube is same as blew out and next one up is leaking alittle.

Also is the intercoolers the same from 94' to 02' or does the 24v's flow better?

No they shouldn't leak, yes I believe the 24v's flow better.
