intercooler?

ok. i'm expecting to take some heck for this, but my buddy got a F*** intercooler at a yard sale. that sucker is HUGE. i'm hoping that i made the right decision by trading him my set-up for that thing. i'll be putting twins in soon, so i will be stuffing a lot more air in. also making a new air horn that will except the 3" coming out of the cooler. just wondering if any of you's have an opinion on, or maybe have seen results (ie. durability) of this done.

Hey Dave what year is the ford intercooler, I have one out of a 99 powersmoker and it has worked fine so far.

i have nooo idea what year. it measures 18" tall x 35 1/2" wide (center to center on the ports) x 2" thick. what kind of boost #'s you pushing through that thing? i'm just hoping it'll hold 55-60 psi for a long time. it looks pretty tough. might have to touch up a couple of the welds though. oh yeah, what the best way to clean one of these things out? it has quite a bit of smegma on the intake side. i guess those F*** guys don't mind stuff going through their turbos???

I dont think mine is that tall, but either way I have been running 35-40 lbs now for a while and has been holding fine. Once the twins are done we'll see
