Intercooler

I bought and intercooler on e-bay and just recieved it yesterday.

It was advertised as 94-98 but it appears to be a first gen...

The core is 30" by 13"... Inlet and outlets are abbout 2 3/4 O. D.

It is completely different from the intercooler on my uncle's '97...



So, my question is how well does this intercooler flow compared to the newer ones? How much boost can they stand? How much would it lower my egt's to get the newer style?

That is a 1st gen intercooler.
