No Strip Action

Sorry BBD, we are installing a winch on the goosemeck. I'll finish that job before I go to the strip. I hope to get to RPM for some dyno testing next week. Then the strip next Sat. Hope the weather holds for another week.



K-Arts, you know the way home. The weather out here is incredibly pleasant for being winter. Just take that freeway with the same number as the speed limit (80) till you hit the California version of the Mississippi River (Sacramento River). Just think what northern Nevada would be like if they had all that water!!!

I'm definately familiar with the area. I actually use to live right over in North Highlands off of Tupelo and Roseville road. Boy do I have some memories at Foothill Jr High and High School... LOL



So if you guys get a chapter up and going, Hopefully I can swing by. I haven't been home in a couple of years... hmm. . sounds like a road trip to me.

I am really mad now. I have planed to attend this from the get go now I have a floor that has to be replaced because of water damage and this is the only weekend I can get the help I need to do it.

I also attended Foothill Jr High and graduated from Foothill High ( class of 1970).



Coach Jake, Coach Negri, ????!!!!, principal was Kollenborn, Reno Dalben, auto shop teacher Kajihara... . does this mean anything to you??????????



My brother was the 3rd person ever to receive his diploma from Foothill Hi in the original class of 1966.

I can tell you stories of how we used to walk thru 9 feet of snow up hill (both ways) to school ( and it never got below 40 degrees in the winter time, )



in our old time diesels, we didn;t know about the glow plug thing, so we threw lit matches down the spark plug holes,



had an old girl friend who could start my truck by doing something by the tailpipe???





GOD, I miss her!!!!!!!!!!



anyway, I will see you guys in the morning, just look for the old guy by the really old Ford, please empty my dribble cub and clean up my bib if you can... ... ... .

Ohh boy is this scary. My brother attended Foothill high and graduated in 1989. So yepp, all of the names above are familiar to me. I'm from the class of 96 (yeah I know I'm a youngbuck), but when I attended all the above had already either been retired or moved on. Boy do I remember Kajihara and his thermos of booze though. . LOL



How funny, I can't believe you are from the same area as me. . LOL We'll have to sit back and chat one of these days.
