I would say show up if you can at are feb. 8th gettogether and voice your opinion, I've said all along this group, club, chapter or whatever you want to call it can be whatever the group wants it to be a couple of people have said the agreed or apposed dodge only but i can't see pushing someone away, if you are who I think you could dish it as well as you could take it and I thought that was pretty cool. Hope to see ya all in Feb. take cre till then. Jeff

Most Folks

I think that most folks would be fine with a all brand club. We've seen it before and it works well. The dyno event Saturday being a good example. JMO

looks like it must be OK as the Houston group is doing an event in conjunction with their local Power Stroke club.

You guys decide this and let me know, as there is interest in forming a local club on the other diesel sites.

BTW,

yes I am svelte looking guy with the red 6. 9, I resent any implications that it is "old", as it probably has less miles on it than a lot of your rigs:D :D :D

TDR

:-{} I seriously doubt we could be a sanctioned chapter of the TDR with an all diesel brand club. My opinion is do we need to be sanctioned or do we need to be a strong all diesel club. I personally would like to see an all diesel club because I am hoping this will be a good well rounded club dedicated to more than just racing the trucks. Don't get me wrong I love to watch the smokin' beasts run the quarter or see the disbelief in the eyes of the Rice Burners when the the big diesel fly down the track. I also like to see a group of trucks and RV's heading down the road and then enjoying the weekend in the hills or on the coast. I think we need to be geared to doing it all. We are all into promoting diesels and I think there is strength in numbers.

Oo. And Big Jake if they won't let you in I'm out.

Sac Chapter

I can't make it on the 8th, but add me to the list. Could it be a TDR club first, and then have guests of what ever kind? Also we could have (satellite) meetings closer to home from time to time. I do welcome other brand and tend to distance away from product wars. I have never been in a club like this, so I don't Really know the haps. Thanks for the effort people. :) .

all brand great by me... I need a friendly OLD ford guy to pick on LOL... ... my lil under powerd rig needs a friendly Dorf to pass to keep it's attitude up.

99% of the guys are just like us. . enjoy seeing what their rig can do... and or need help understanding how to do things...

besides I have met a bunch of great guys with our group get togethers sponsored by D-C site and Tulare events !!

I heartily support all brands, even the Duramaxes :p In the

upcoming years here in Kalifornia we will need to stand together

to keep the environazis from confiscating all our diesels, and

there is surely more strength in larger numbers of organized,

united groups :D

Besides, I drove a 1987 Ford 6. 9 diesel for a few years before I

got Godzilla

I also am for being all inclusive. Heck, who knows, if we put an event together we might be able to get a few Allis-Chalmers and John Deere's to show.

I will also agree with Tom about strenght in numbers. It's not a hill any of us are going to die on today, but when the fight comes...

Let Him In

I say we let BIG JAKE in. However, we'll keep a close eye on him :) Maybe probation for the first six months:-laf :-laf

Nowel has also implied that he may be at Sac Raceway on Saturday trying to improve his numbers... . maybe we can pay him a visit after the meeting
