Got my 2002 GMC DuraMax/Allison back from dealer last Wednesday. Was told the problem with my transmission was the torque converter bleeding down while sitting for a few days. GMC DOES NOT HAVE A FIX. "NO PARTS NO REPAIR AVAIABLE" So I sit here with a truck that won't go into reverse or move forward normally for 4 to 6 minutes after not being driven for a few days. Hope no one else has similar problem. Contacted GMC and put in a complaint and was advised to Contact Better Business Bureau Auto Line. I did so and am waiting for paperwork from them. I am going to try to make GMC replace truck. Hopefully another one won't bleed down while sitting for a few days. Any one who wants a copy of dealer repair order I will photo copy and mail it to them. Would like to know if anyone else is having similar problem especially with a 2003, as that is what they will probably replace my truck with.
