Looking for better MPG from current alternate vehicles?

How about being at the right place at the right time with a camera!

This 'incident' caused the USAF to ground the fleet

Just Flying along, enjoying the ride... . Awright! And what's so cool is they actually pay me to do this!

Hmmm. Strange sound. Something feels different.

Hey, why am I looking up. ??

Time for a mirror check. Hey, where's the rest of my F-15. ?

Uh oh, it's over there. I think I've got a definite 'Aw, *****' going here...

I gotta wonder, am I the first guy to ever experience 'cockpit-airframe separation anxiety'.

OK, enough is enough. I'm outta here. but first the canopy has to go...

Hey GREAT! That worked as advertised. Things are looking up!

OK, now it's my turn. I'm gone - soon as I find that lower handle.

And finally. .

Oh yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Looks like it's going to be just another 'average day at the office'.

What caused the mid air break up?

The main longreron behind the cockpit failed due to corrosion.

I should'a looked over on snopes when that was sent to me. Thanks for setting the record straight. While not the real thing it appears it is an animation of what actually took place.

Not even close to looking real.

It is the animation of a real event that, IIRC, happened real recently. They do this sort of reenactment from black boxes when any crash happens, and they retrieve the data, even on military planes/helos.

Sure had me fooled, granted I'm easily fooled, (makes life less stressful) kept looking for the pilot, driver's seat looked empty with the canopy still buttoned down. (how do they do that?)
