Was making a run the other day and realized I couldn't get over 55-60 mph. Had to downshift to fifth, wouldn't pull it. Had a load on my trailer, about 17,000 gross, the only thing was I was going directly into a 85 mph headwind. We had a little hurricane down here and the radio said the winds were in the 85-90 mph range in the area I was in. I was going directly into it. Anyone wants to know what the wind noise sounds like at about 140 in one of these things, I can tell you. Checked my mpg readout and it said 5. 1.
Oh well, when I came back, I was getting 22 mpg.
Guess everything balances out. Just thought I would write a lite note tonight.
