Outrageous prices

I like this one, fits our current national and International scenario:

To the nations all around the globe, who have suffered famine, tsunamis, hurricanes, and all other manner of natural and man made evils, are you prepared to "go it alone"?

America has supplied your needs for decades, at the cost to us of countless lives, and untold billions, yet "hate America" seems to be the refrain coming from too many nations America has helped. (not to mention, many of our OWN citizens!)

Please remember, if you think the UN can replace America in these regards, their record does not inspire much trust, "Oil for Food" program and all.

Princeton University's Samuel Stanhope Smith, (Term 1795-1812) also taught as Professor, Moral and Political Philosophy. To summarize him on these matters, Just Commerce is the means to bring a peaceful co-existence to the world, as no nation has all it needs, and a JUST manner of trade brings a greater good to the people of joint partners... UNJUST trade punishes people through slave labor, or oppressively low wages, or by selling goods others need, at oppressively high prices.

In a phrase, he taught that "You are your brothers keeper", and "if your neighbor is in need and you have the means, do not withold it. "

Gary, Samuel was years before his time, an excellent post should be required reading and explained if needed to all the World's population. Sadly for most it's, ME,ME,ME.
