I am having a battery drain problem with my 2009 Ram 3500 6.7l. According to the Dodge service manual "31453690-2002-2009-Dodge-Ram-Service-Manual" max drain IOD should be 35 milliamps, page 8f-15. I was drawing 250 milliamps. I started removing fuses and found when I removed fuse #32 it dropped down to 20 milliamps (YEA). My question is what does #32 supply? According to service manual page 4-8 it is (HVAC, Adjustable Pedal, Heated Seat Switch, Exhaust Brake), but according to the owners manual that came with the truck it is only (Power Ignition Run-Adjustable Petals LED). What does LED stand for with the adjustable petals? Light Emitting Diode? There are numerous discrepancies between the service manual and the owners manual...another example is #11...in the service manual it is listed as (Rad Fan Hi Rly), but in the owners manual it is listed as (ignition off draw(IOD)-Cabin Compartment Node(CCN)/Radio/Under Hood Lamp and several other). Anyone have a better list as to what each fuse covers. Guess I should go by the owners manual since it came with the truck. Since I removed the fuse and reinstalled it the problems seems to have disappeared, that is why I stated above WAS DRAWING. Any ideas what to look for? We are going to be heading out with our Truck Camper for 2 months and don't want to get caught on the road with a problem if I can prevent it.
