I can't decide which color interior to go with Flame Red. Those of you that have this color, what color is your interior? If you don't have this color, which would you prefer? The results of this poll will determine the color I order.

I ended up with the taupe, wanted the grahite grey leather. Bought the dealers last 03 dually on the lot and no one else had a Laramie in town in the grey. I saw a 1500 in that shade, very nice. The taupe aint bad either. :D

I vote for graphite.

I like the taupe for a few reasons... it doesn't get as hot in summer, the entire interior is the same color (unlike the dark gray seats and near-white pillars), and the taupe goes with basically everything.

I do wish Dodge had better promoted the Navy Blue interior that was used in the 2002 1500s to keep it in production. I would have loved to order a Patriot Blue truck with the navy interior. I will likely go with Patriot Blue and Taupe premium cloth when I order late next year (an early 2005).

On 03 trucks the taupe is actually two tone. Not just the Laramie seats with the inserts, but the dash too. The dash is darker on top. I like it.

The light grey. Click on the link in the first paragraph.

Now is this light grey an 04 option? My 03 brochure dosen't list it, just taupe or slate grey. But that 360 of the interior looks like a light grey. It sure isn't dark slate grey.

My truck is Flame Red w/Taupe interior and I like it..... but I would have bought the truck if it had the darker interior. Either one looks good to me.

I ordered taupe for my '04. I've had grey in all my vehicles for 15 years and I'm ready for a change. I think the taupe makes the leather look more like leather. Good luck in your decision. :)

I got the Graphite, Had a car with a Taupe color and it showed dirt and wear real bad. Here are some pictures of mine if it helps ya.

Not the gratest quality picts though

Interior Colors

One of my biggest gripes concerning my Dodge CTD is the poor choice of available interior colors that seem to get worse with each model year. On my 03 SLT I had my choice of;

1 - Funeral Parlor Grey

2 - Outhouse Brown

My biggest gripe is Tires. We should have a choice of tire Brands and I for one would be willing to pay the difference in cost. The major problems I have had with my last two Dodge Ram's has been with tires. My 03 with less than 10K miles allready has that famous Good Year shake/shimmy.

I check tire pressure and rotate often.

I love my Cummins Turbo Diesel and as a 30 year long distance truck driver I can verify it is the most reliable, longest lasting and best all around engine available anywhere. I would never buy anything manufactured by International Harvester (Navistar). I wonder if many people are aware that IH does NOT make a diesel engine for the thousands of IH 'Big Rig' Semi tractors on the road today ? They all have Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Catapiller, etc.

I am just not wild about some of the cheap things DC does with the Rams.

Just my . 02 cents worth!

I went with the dark slate grey on my 2001, 2003 and again on the 2004 I have on order. My 1997 had the tan interior, which was the best of all. I wish they offered a medium tan (a real tan. . not "taupe", which to me is like a milky-white grey), like in the F*rds.
