Interior light problem

Need a little help, searched for some clues in archive and found some info, but need everyones expertise:



When removing carpeting recently to repair rust :{ :{ I had to remove the CB that was mounted to the floor by prior owner. Being in a hurry I cut the wires without disconnecting power . After reconnecting wires I have the following problem:



No map light

No radio

No dome light

No cigar lighter

No under hood curtesy light



I have checked the fuses, nothing blown. Have not done any tracing yet, looking for a place to start. Kinda hard to find the controls in the dark...

The Lights Are Out

No fuse problems? I would triple check that. Use a test light or DVOM at the fuse block it's self. Sometimes a fuse will go and it's difficult to spot. Locate the proper fuse then check for power there. The cigar lighter is a separate fuse from the other problems you have. I had no lighter when I purchased my truck. Everything else worked. I'm thinking there was some other circuit tied in with it



As far as rust is concerned I just now finished installation of my rockers A job I had begun back in June They look great. Had to remove the running boards though. Think I'll be keeping them off.
