Left on thursday morning everything good, return home to find both batteries dead. Charged batteries and reinstalled. all interior lights stay on. Pull IOD fuse lights go out. Remove battery cable- reconnected same issue Removed dome light switch same issue.. Any Ideas??? yes should say its on the 2006

Simply try disconnecting BOTH battery grounds for 15 minutes or so and then reconnecting them. The power interruption forces the BCM/FCM (body control module or front control module depending on your year truck) in to a "software reset" back to factory parameters. Often times the reset corrects problems just like the one you are having!!

Interior Lights are controlled by the instrument Cluster. No FCM, no PCM, no ECM are involved.
Check it in the Body Diagnostics Book. It's not a simple one step solution to determine the exact fault you got.
Usually the IC switches of the light off after 15Min even when you set them manually to ON, including an open door - Key removed.
Reset the Trucks system like written above is first step. After this you'll need a DRB to diagnosis the fault, it is BUS related.
