interior lights on

i got out of my truck the other night and i noticed that the interior lights were on and i checked the switch and it was off so i pulled the bulbs does anyone know what could be the problem

they normally stay on for a period of time after you get out, unless you lock the truck, if you have power locks. they go out after about 30 seconds or so. i suspect the owner's manual may have more info, but i haven't read it recently, so can't remember.

Try this: put the bulbs back in (one bulb is good enough)-close the doors, give it the needed time to go off as described in you owner's manual. If the light stays on check each door light switch by depressing the switch manually. It could be that any one switch is bad. Good luck!
