My brother (not a TDR member…yet) Has and 02 2500 CTD and last week he noticed that his interior lights, mirror adjustments, and radio are no longer working. We checked all the fuses and everything seems ok. Anyone got any ideas on what the problem is here. He can't get it into the dealers until the 9th.

Thanks,

KD

I have the same problem with exactly the same devices. In mine,

and I bet in yours too, the radio fuse blows and the funny fuse holder one (10 amp). It happens only if I tried to adjust

the passenger side mirror down. I haven't tried to shoot the problem yet because I don't have a maanual (driven to backruptcy trying to pay for the truck). Anybody feel like taking 6 or 7 hours and looking at their manual?

Just a thought... There is a 50 amp battery fuse under the hood, check that. I noticed when mine popped(doing something I shouldn't have been:D) that all the stuff you mentioned quit working.

I don't know how similar your wiring is to my 98, but in my truck these devices are all protected by fuse 12, the Ignition Off Draw fuse. Page 8W-12-12 refers in the Chrysler Service Manual. It also protects the cargo lamp, dome lamp, seatbelt control module and underhood lamp. Nick.
