In my 2000 3500, one of the overhead lights quit working. When I push it to come on the light comes on, but doesnt stay on when I release. Is this fixable, and if not what all has to come out to repalce it?? Thanks for any help. .

Huh hot dang mine just started doing this yesterday :confused: Drove me nuts as you are so used to taping it *Click* light is on. This time it was *Click* . . ??? Click???? what gives :-{}

Pop the lense out and see if you push the button itself f it will stay on or not, could be the switch either came out of the slot and is floating around or the switch itself is bad, either way not a big deal to fix...

I read or was told that the switch is not fixable(if broke) and a new harness needs to be ordered to fix it as the switch cannot be purchased seperate from the harness. I have yet to get this harness or attempt to pull down the overhead to get the wiring harness out and replace. I have not even had a chance to find out what the harness cost but knowing dodge the wire is probably made from gold!!! Sorry I can be of no further help yet.
