my interior lights will only stay on about ten seconds, either with doors open or key in ign. what controls interior lights, roll switch by head light and cargo light switch doesn't change anything

What year is your truck?? Probably just needs the trusty ol' reboot.

Disconnect the batteries for a couple minutes and see if it makes a difference.
