Interior window cleaners

Another vote for Stoner's Invisible Glass. Newspaper is good for 99%. When you use newspaper, you get ink on your hands. Seems to me that some of that ink gets on the glass too. Also, it falls apart and leaves paper bits scattered around. For that last 1%, cotton t-shirts are the best. When you wash them, hang them to dry. Don't put them in the dryer, and especially don't use fabric softener, which is wax based. As for strokes, I use vertical and horizontal and alternate back and forth until the glass feels clean - inside and out.

I have to admit that I'm obsessive about clean glass.

I use sprayway, safe for all windows. best bought at costco if you have one 10-$12 a four pack spraycans otherwise its pricey. i do notice i have to wash the inside windshield twice most of the time. also great on out side windows. if the wind shield is wet 0r damp spray it on and let set. it takes the road film off fantastic. works great Merry Cristmas to all robert

I vote no on stoners I like the Meguiars NXT Generation® Glass Cleaner. I like the zwipes microfiber windshield & glass cloth. I find with regular microfiber towels that they leave lint behind. and the stoners never really cleans the window well for me the meguiars is the only stuff i don't need to clean my windows with weekly. I will say that I am overly anal with my truck as i have waxed it 24 times in the 7 month Ive owned it

I bought and tried the Stoners... ... first with a clean T shirt... . I was not sure of the newspaper thing, but I tried it... . SOAG it works great

Never tried the Stoners, but it sounds interesting. I second the 50% vinegar/50% water solution with newspaper... . never had a streak yet, and you can't beat the bang for the buck.

I have a glass wall on the south side of my shop and have been using the water/vinegar/squeegee deal for 25 years... I do get some streaking, but it is cheap. A pro window washer ( who hangs 35 stories on a rope) started me on this... .....

I do like Stoners for auto/truck windows thou...

I have used a variety of window cleaners on the vehicle windows with good results.

The real test was using it in the shower stall, with clear glass doors.



The window cleaners came in second,

Vinegar and Water cut the soap residue quicker and better than any window cleaner i've used.

Sprayway. Again, little bit hard to find, but good stuff. I have also used Invisible Glass works good, but I remember Sprayway really worked well, lots of good paper towels, carefull not to contaminate clean area by picking up gunk from dirty sectionwhile cleaning.

Glass cleaners

I use Isopropyl , rubbing Alcohol. We use it on HV insulators for it doesn't leave a resadu or track. Some of it I think is to clean the windows often for this I am guilty of.
