Archived Intermitent Fuel Pressure

I have a Y2K that i have installed a Holly Blue pump befor the lifter. I ran this through a relay that is turned on from the red wire that turns on the Lifter pump. Since this is a relay the power is a full 12 volts to the Holly pump. Yesterday three times i had either no fuel pressure on my gage (0 psi) or only the lifter pump pressure (9psi) but after a moment it would sometimes come back sometimes not. With my Holly pump running i get 24psi at idle. How i can i check a code if something is wrong with the siglal to the lifter. I heard there was a way to read a code on the Odometer display on this truck is that true? I am going to tear into my splices tonight but i wanted to see if there were any other suggestions.

Oh yea i have been running this set up for about five months and 6000miles with no issues.

Key on-off-on-off-on with in 5 seconds as I recall. Look for codes in odometer display.

if pump is running all the time check your filter or sucking air. if pump is on/off/on/off prob a bad connection.

Just wanted to finish this post, the Holly Pump finally went out. Replaced this and all is well again.
