Ok, I need help and here is the scenerio. I just towed my 5ver from Anchorage to NJ and along the way I started having some troubles. The truck would have a sudden loss of power usually under a heavy load going up hill. I would be pulling about 30psi of boost then it would just drop to about 8psi and all power would be lost. This would last about 30 seconds and I would loose about 10-15mph then the truck would regain all the boost and take off like a bat out of hell again. Some days this wouldn't happen at all and some days it would happen on every hill I went up.

I stopped at a Dodge dealer in TN and they told me my waste gate actuator was bad and I needed to replace the turbo... so since I am always looking for more power I put on the Super-B S-300 from Jegs. Problem solved... for one day, then it started acting up again. I have checked all of my boots and could not find any apparant leaks, my fuel filter was replaced with my valve adjustment just before leaving last month also. Please help, this is driving me crazy. Thanks in advance.

Replace the fuel filter again. Could've gotten dirty fuel. I NEVER fill up at a station when the fuel truck is there. Stirs up all sorts of crap and water in the tanks. I may get a gallon or 2 to get me to the next station, but that is it. There a chance you may need to use some biocide in the fuel to kill algae, if it is present.

Sounds like a fuel pressure problem.

I am going to change all my filters and fluids again next week since I just traveled 8000 miles last month. I had the dodge dealer in TN do a fuel pressure check also and they said all was fine there... but I agree that it is a fuel delivery problem. Could it be a bad injector or pump?

Well, new filter is in. I took camper to storage and at one point going down the highway the truck started stumbling and hesitating like it was running out of fuel (over 3/4 tank so it was not low) and then lost all boost and power for about 30 seconds then it took off again. That was the only time during todays trip though. I am stumped, any suggestions?

You are describing the exact same symptoms I have been plagued with for the last year. You say your boost goes down? I don't have a boost gauge so i don't know what my boost is, but mine acts like it is running out of fuel. I have a fuel pressure gauge and always plenty of pressure. Usually pulling or driving fast ,especially pulling hills on a trip it will lose power here and there and then kick back in and accelerate and then go down again. Does yours ever die if you let off the pedal? I have replaced every component in the fuel delivery and still no change. Let us know what you figure out.
