I think i have an issue with my Front end 4wd. The Truck Runs and Drives Great, No vibration at road speed, Steering is still very tight. The Issue noticable when i am plowing with the truck. When in 4wd I am hearing a Clunk When i Brake in both Forward and Reverse. Sometimes When i turn it sounds like something is binding up. In 2wd this does not happen. keep in mind that i am not an idiot and tring to drive in 4wd on dry pavement, this is happening on snowy roads.

Has anyone had an issue like this before? And what did you do to solve it? I just had New Rotors and Wheel barings put on last summer. Could The mechanic done a shotty job installing them? Or could this be U-joints? Thanks for the input.

I would lean towards ujoints as well but it is probably worth spending a few minutes with a pry bar and the front of your truck to see what is loose. I know that it isn't fun this time of year, especially if you plow but it is worth your time.

Which of your trucks is this? I believe that the front end in the '02 spins full time but I might be mistaken. Do you happen to get a vibration at any speeds in 2 or 4 wheel drive?

Check your front calibers , one of the bolts could have backed out. A friend had this happen, when he hit the brakes the caliper would shift.
