82k miles, original owner. Just had turbo replaced and now have intermittent coolant leak when towing 18k 5ver somewhere close to oil filter. Will not leak when just truck by itself. All temperatures are steady with 192* coolant and oil temperature 200* towing or not. Performance is good as ever. Fan clutch is engaged all the time now and sounds like a wind turbine! At times the cooling resovoir will not build proper psi. After about 4 attempts to find the problem it has kicked my rear!! Any and all comments are appreciated

Coolant temp shouldn’t be staying steady at 192° while towing, it should easily hit 207° and up to 215-217° is normal on hills. Don’t bother looking at oil temp, that’s a fake reading.

Since turbo was just replaced and that’s where the leak is I would look at the turbo cooling lines. You will develop a crust of evaporated coolant around the leak, so look for that.

UPDATE*****Coolant leak was the line between the turbo and the metal T off of heater housing. It had to have 1 1/2 turns to tighten it. Just above and forward of oil filter housing. Was not tightened properly when replacing turbo!! The fan clutch is different issue and looks like a replacement is needed asap. Thanks.
