Cruising empty is just fine.

Towing a 13k 5er going up hill under high power settings my RASP fp gauges show an intermittent (like fraction of a second (1/4 second)) air in the system sudden drop from 14 psi to 10 psi and back to 14 psi.

It looks like an intermittent air leak in a fuel line connector or the fuel cannister is running out of pickup fuel. If I back off slightly, smooth steady power. Running rpm is 2400 rpm 60 mph (ETC out of O/D (3. 54's))

I only have DD2's, so they are not huge injectors.

All fuel lines are AN-6 and checked for tightness, no drips. What would be a good thread sealer for AN-6 in addition to the normal flare / cone fitment?

It could be the fuel cannister going low in fuel supply possibly? I have not had the tank down to inspect the fuel cannister.

Your thoughts?
