Hi all,

I've been lurking for a couple days trying to troubleshoot an issue. Truck (1999) was running fine one day, next day won't fire.

I noticed (not at first) that I couldn't hear the lift pump running when I turned the key. I did the volume test found in one thread and got the 45ish ounces of fuel once. Usually nothing. Again, realized the pump wasn't always running when it should. Put a meter on the pump input and it is only getting voltage about 1 in 15 (or so) attempts. When it gets voltage the pump(s) seems to work and the engine will actually start!

Looking for the "next step" in troubleshooting. Where do I go next, relays, wiring, ECM?

Would appreciate any direction you might have.

Thanks in advance...

Dave
