Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) intermittent starter engagement

I have a 99 dodge cummins, intermittently it will not crank. You have to cycle switch several times, prior to starter working? Possible switch or starter.

Likely starter contacts,there are heavy duty ones from Larry b. Dont have his web site at hand . try search for starter or Larry B . Hope this helps.
