When I click on a subject to open in a new window the new window does not come up to full screen. I grab the corners and pull it to full screen but the next time I click on new window it does the same thing. Just too old for the quirks. THANKS!
Try F11 to get the full screen. I think there's some default settings you can play with to get it to open to a full screen all the time, but I'm not sure. For stuff like that, I usually just hack around until I find the solution. Then I forget how I did it the next time it happens.
Rather than tug on the corners push F11 on the top row of your key board, push again to undo it. Also try clicking the middle box in the upper right corner of the IE page, next to the X close box. Sounds like you are in cascade mode, the middle box changes that
Thanks for the comeback. I can get the full screen by clicking on the x to maximize, f11 etc but the very next time it comes up with the little screen. I am with you fireman in that I can' t remember how I got here in the first place
Klenger, by the title bar (dumb question comming up) is this the one that has the icons at the bottom for each window that is open?
When you retire everything becomes more complicated except getting to work every morning.
The title bar is the top most bar of an application window. It's above all the toolbars and menus. The title bar is the one that has the application title shown, thus it's called the title bar. Right now I am using IE, and the title bar shows... "TDR Roundtable - Reply to Topic - Microsoft Internet Explorer".
