The Hazards of Laying Pipe in Northern Ontario

Spoiled kids

The last couple days I have not been able to get on many web sites that I once did. I keep getting the Page saying Web page not available.

Has anyone else had this problem lately?

I am trying to look up dodge parts on www.oemdodgeparts.com

and 1 other that will open home page but get same message when trying to open any other page in the site.

Yup, same here...

TDR, clubsearay, and ctfisherman. The ones I go to the most. Happens with E-Bay also sometimes.

If I refresh, they open OK.

Refresh is not doing it for me. I have had instances where the home page will appear and then go to can not display page.

Have any of you upgraded to IE7? It is now coming in as a downlod from Microsoft. Not all websites are happy with it yet.

I have been on IE7 since Beta as well. I have no problems with it, but, I have had to take it out of various customers computers for problems, just a thought.

I find the Internet slow on active news days.

I have the same issue lately and thought it might be due to my recent so called upgrade to IE7 (internet explorer 7) any of you guys upgrade yet?

Yes come to think of it it has been getting worse since I upgraded to IE7 about a month ago. I was wondering if it could be a cause. what can be done to help? I tried this morning and some problem sites are working. But I need to refresh a time or 2 to get to some pages.

There is a windows update (KB904942) related to a problem with HTTP authentication that only becomes apparent after upgrading to IE7. Here's what Microsoft has to say about it:

You can download that from this link - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/904942 or by using the windows update function (tools->windows update in IE). If using the windows update function it's one of the optional software updates that you have to select manually. Don't know if that's what's causing your problems but it's possible.
