Are they just a yellow AGCO 4wd tractor, or something completely different?
Nope, its different. It uses the same Cat engine and transmission, the same cab, as the Mt800 series Cat tractor. I was hoping they were going to use Cat axles, but they did not. I don't know what the power divider is, didn't look that close.

Were you there in '93? Talk about a mud hole. They still picked corn, even though it was in the mid to high 40s for moisture. The rotary combines handled it well, but the Deere 9000 series mushed up half of the cobs.

Nope, we don't go to the FPS if its very muddy. Its no fun at all. It was kinda fun on Wednesday morning though, when I rolled up in my 93, nobody worried about me getting to a parking spot. Didn't even lock the hubs in. :-laf

What did you think of the new Challenger articulated 4 wheel drive tractor? I much prefer tracks still.

I seen that. I figured they were new since I'd never heard of a Cat Tractor with wheels. They shoulda put triples on that bad boy! I think I seen/heard you drive by my place heading home Thursday night, with your wife following you in the 93.

Kind of fun to watch how creative some people get to keep mud of their shoes, if they didn't plan for the mud, or are city slickers. Walking around with trash bags on their feet and all. :-laf :-laf

Don't know if it was anyone here, but I seen a white second gen ext. cab blowing some pretty good smoke turning to go to Menards in Ottumwa today. Judging by the chrome mirrors, I'd say it was a 12 valve. Had some writing on the club cab part, but didn't catch what it said.

I've been a member on here for almost two years and never saw this thread until tonight. I'm just about 5 miles south of MMiller and I've seen his truck around quite a bit but you probably see me driving (or pulling) a yellow Samuria more than my Dodge.

Wonder if he is any relation to a Jerry Blakely I know. My dad did some fieldwork for them when he farmed down there. They were from around Lockridge, IA, IIRC. They are out by Grimes, now, and he is a concrete contractor now. .

Probably, Mike is originally from the Lockridge area, I think.

Seen A red two tone reg. cab with a TDR sticker (among many in the back window) sitting on the square in Moravia Friday night. It had Marion county plates on it.

Emmetsburg

Hey I'm new to TDR, but have been a turbo diesel enthusiast for quite a while! If anyone gets up the Emmetsburg way and spots a black 3/4 ton with a aluminum flatbed thats me!!! or a blue 3/4 ton 4-door (thats my dad) I will have to get a TDR badge for both trucks.

Sorry for not replying sooner but I just got around to renewing my subscription. That was us that you hauled hay for. If I'm by your place and I see you around I'll stop in.

Sounds like me but probably wasn't unless you didn't post on the day you saw the truck. I run I80 all the time but my log book says I was in WY, ID and UT on the 24th. I was headed east in IA on the 22nd though and ate in Clive around noon. Same song today too and am now in Indiana.

I spotted a red Second gen qc truck with tdr stickers on the qc windows heading east on I-80 west of Des Moines

I saw a Red 3500 Dually (2wd) heading east on I35/I80 on Tuesday night, Sep 18th. Around the Northwest corner of Des Moines, Iowa.

One TDR sticker on each side of rear window.

Wasn't able to read the license plate. Too busy doing a double take on the TDR stickers I guess.

Time was approx 6:15pm.

I was driving my 2500 Silver truck in signature.

Saw a White second gen Quad Cab long bed truck with a "Cummins Turbo Diesel" Sticker on the windshield and gauges parked at Jordan Creek on Thursday afternoon. Dunno if you're a member but the sticker was the one that Geno's has.

I'll be back up in the Mt. Pleasant area on the 22nd for about two weeks. Maybe I'll see a few of you on the road in my travels around there.

Ben

I seen a 3rd gen dually with a car trailer hauling through town last week with stacks that came out through the front corners of the bed. Not sure if it belongs to a member, but was cool how the stacks were mounted.
