Hopped in the truck this afternoon to run some errands and pickup some paystub info from work. Opened my log book to start my record (mileage, temp, time, start condition observation). I leave the key in the on position while writing the log to give the grid heater enough time to cycle and the wait to start light enough time to turn off. I notice immediately my radio clock is out, I tap it a few times thinking its finally hit the dust just as I hit 250K till I hit the time function and it illuminates the time for a brief moment then goes dark again. I don't think much of it since the radio has stopped working shortly after I got the truck back in 19' I've gotten used to driving in silence and creature comforts haven't been as big as a priority as the catch up work I've been doing since I got the truck.

I turn the ignition, truck fires no issues/hiccups, I finish my log and I'm pulling out of my neighborhood, dodging some idiot turning in at the entrance that didn't see me behind the car that just turned out when I notice my ISSPROEV2 gauges aren't working and neither is the lift pump, with my ABS, Airbag, E-brake, and seatbelt light all illuminated on my gauge cluster. I pull out of my neighborhood and turn off into a construction site for a new development and pop the hood after shutting the truck off. I check my fuses; Lift pump fuse is good, gauge fuse is good, ABS fuse socket is good.

Turn the truck back on and fire, all lights out, gauges working and lift pump working. No issues or additional lights, I open my log book again and record the observations.

My Gauges and Lift Pump have their ignition run signal wire tapped from an add a fuse at the ABS pump location in the IPM. I did some digging in the archives and searching for IPM FCM failures and it seems to line up with others symptoms. For what its worth my overhead console stopped working after a brief period of intermittent issues a while ago (six months to a year ago) and I didn't think much of it other than age and Chrysler electronics, and just being thankful it wasn't anything keeping the truck from running.

I remember in another thread that I intended to have Circuit Board Medics rebuild my IPM which I mistakenly called a TIPM and Gauge cluster. I realized my mistake just now looking at their IPM repair price compared to the later model TIPMs. 600 flat..... Anyone have any other recommendations for repair or replacement, CB medics is an option but one I don't want to choose first if there are other viable routes. I can't walk into a pull a part down here and find a third gen Cummins. There's a couple that horde just about every 2nd gen and 3rd gen that hit a yard in the South East 25mins away from me that aren't willing to sell or part trucks because of their operation.

Thoughts?
