Big Oil!

Say with all the madness shifting tward apple it seems that we have become part of the orchard so to speak!

I was just checking out iTunes and in the podcasts there is a section called transportation ... inside is Trucking. Soooo I checked it out and Lo and behold they were talking about Diesel and the U. S Market.

It's a free subscription and I am gong to DL it and listen on the way to work tomorrow.

Now what say there was enough need that some how some way we as the TDR could muster our OWN Podcast?? (Wink Wink)

That would rock!

Wonder how many diesel heads iPod? I know, i don't leave the house without mine. It's so easy to roll up to a show and have calibrated pink noise on the spot on an endless loop.

I've got a 40 gb ipod. I like to listen to audio books (audible.com) when I walk or hike and listed to my tunes (jazz, classical, etc) at work using a docking station with speakers. I can also plug it into my stereo in the camper or at home. When I'm messing with my computer at home, I plug it into the computer speakers. It's amazing how much capacity they have. I also use it to backup up my laptop hard drive.

Double D I used to have a disc that was called "Audio Source LLC5) that was a tuners disk. Well that is gone now. Calibrated Pink , white , demag , sweep tones by50 Hz increments Starting @ 18Hz up to I think 50Khz (Dogs went nuts :-laf ) etc. What are you using?? I am still trying to find stuff for my 60Gb Video

I just took the output of my RTA and captured it on the computer @ 320kb/s. I have some sweeps too, but I don't use those as much as the good ole ear :) I am waiting for Spectra Foo to come out for PC, that would ideal.

TMTT, scary thing is... all my music on my computer is 320kb/s  and i have enough to DJ for country folk, rap folk, and classic rock folk and take request on the fly. Last count was well over 50,000 songs :-laf
