I have the 6 disc CD changer (RBQ) and was wondering if anyone has connected their IPOD to the 10pin connector on the back of this radio with the aftermarket adapter ?? Or have anybody make own wire connectors... :-laf

I did it with a plug-in-play system, but now I can't remember who made it (CRS). It's been mentioned here on the TDR a bunch of times. Works great and has 3 aux imputs + sirius.

Not aftermarket, and it's for REC unit, but I just installed factory ipod interface just last night. Kind of pricey but it works well. Allows ipod control thru steering wheel and head unit.

Do you have a vendor and/or part number?

Thanks

I'm looking for the same thing you have (I think)so I can have an AUX input on my radio as well as plug in the wifes IPOD. If you do recall who made it I would appreciate a response!

Finally got my brain jump-started.

I got the interface from PIE, acutally bought it somewhere else, but it's PIE products. PIE Website

You need an X3 X3 BRAIN UNIT and X3-CHRY04 2002-2007 CHRYSLER TO X. The X3 has 3 aux inputs and 1 input for the Sirius radio. Note that to use this, you must have either an external changer or a Sirius radio to act as a slave unit. You also need one of these to connect the ipod to the X3. If in doubt, call them. They are very helpful.

That particular iPod cable won't work on vehicles older than 2006 (no can-bus). There are however 3 or 4 other factory iPod cables for older factory units. I don't know P/N's, but call your favorite dealer and they should be able to hook you up... (pun intended... )

Does anybody know is it works 2004

truck with RBQ radio model?
