When Engine is cold and o/side temp is cold, engine wil start and then stall. When I crank it the second time, it will run, but it sounds like it takes about 30 or 40 seconds before I hear normal clatter. Can one of the relays be bad, or is the injector pump on its way out?

Any suggestions?::rolleyes:

I think I know what you're talking about. Mine does the same if I don't let the wait to start light go off. It doesn't stall, but it makes a different sound for a few seconds (almost like a smooth stumble - if that makes any sense) and then I hear the normal clatter. I have no idea what it is. I'll be watching this thread though.....

I have the same symptoms as you and I've traced my issue back to the level of fuel in my tank. If the tank is full to maybe 5/8 it starts and runs beautifully. If I let it get anywhere near a half tank or less it takes a longer cranking time and a rough start and an occasional stall. Just my 2 cents, I hope this helps!
